It is amazing how expensive dieting can be. For a person who normally just exercises more to lose weight, to suddenly be shoved into the diet world is shocking. A grocery store trip that used to cost between thirty and forty dollars now costs almost eighty. Buying fresh veggies and better cuts of meat add to the pile but for a person who normally buys the cheapest brand by figuring out the cost by ounce, it hurts to have to buy the six dollar bottle of salad dressing when there is one on sale for one dollar.
How can one handful of gummy bears affect you that much? I know the unused sugar turns to fat …but the very logic of it bothers me.
