Trying to finish Prozac Nation this week and had to shelve it, I am simply not in the right mind frame to read something so bleak at the moment. Currently pissed off at myself. Have worked for the last week researching for a scholarship contest and was not able to finish my paper in time for the deadline today. Feel like I simply procrastinated the time away and could have finished if I had really tried. Might make myself finish simply for myself.
Just finished The Naming by Croggon, wonderful book, cannot wait for the next one in the series. The ending was a little abrupt but still and absorbing read. About to start Jinx High by Mercedies Lackey and On How to Travel anywhere by Yourself. Trying to contain my itchy feet by reading travel novels and books and working at getting ready to move. I want to do something now… a trip, a vacation, a move to somewhere else, a month in the north away from the coming summer heat, anything. Last time I got itchy feet I changed colleges, got my associates degree and quit my job, to eventulaly get the job I have now. I love my job and do not want to quit, but dreams of the beach and mountains are calling, it is hard to work and do school when my gut is saying run run run.
