I want a loft apartment with a balcony garden. Or a condo with a postage stamp lawn.
Seriously, I like my rental house but I hate the lawn. I want a place with utterly no lawn, only a small garden or potted plants. I hate the constant upkeep and mowing, the trimming of trees and bushes. Trying to corral the ivy and vines is making me nuts.
I know got this place because of my large breed dog but I lived in a condo with no lawn for six years before this and she did fine. Most apartments don’t allow pets or large dogs so it might be a while before I find a place I can move to but I am seriously considering it. Maybe if I can get my old condo sold, sigh.
