Prices and usages continue to rise in the US. The use of gasoline in Britain has stayed fairly level over the last few years, while the use of gasoline in the US has grown 10 times as large.
The average cost of a middle income family in the US has also climed. The general view in the US that I am seeing is that of excess and waste. We now have disposable everything, from diapers and mops to toilet brushes and rags. I don’t know of a single person at the moment who uses hankercheifs instead of tissues. What is easy is now in demand.
