I think my sense of ethics is skewed compared to everyone else’s. When I answer the phone I expect the other person to be waiting to speak to me, not speaking to someone else off the line and ignoring the person they just called. If I get this kind of phone call I hang up on the person. Obviously they did not want to talk to me right then. (I know, I am so ungrateful and rude.)

I just figure if I am going to be polite and give them wonderful customer service, then they should give me the same respect. They are calling to speak to me anyway, right?
