Anyone else losing track of time a lot?
I keep forgetting it's October and Fall now. It's still 85 degrees outside and not a hint of color to the trees yet. We have almost missed the apple season and I hadn't even considered going to buy some for apple butter.
Fall is my favorite season but this year is so strange and skewed in so many ways.
There will be no large family gatherings for Thanksgiving or Christmas.
There will be no birthday parties or exchanging of gifts in person.
I normally make bottles of homemade vanilla or apple butter to send home with friends and I haven't even considered starting yet. I have no real intention of baking cookies or holiday breads to send out.
Are you starting new traditions this year or trying to keep old ones going with alterations?
